Totem Efficiency: When Stacks Are Worth the Cost

Sugar, Ice, and Festival totems explained with simple break-even thinking so you do not overspend for a tiny stack.

Totems apply last in the unit formula. They scale everything you already do right — and everything you do wrong.

Simple break-even

If a totem costs a large cash dump, estimate how many blends you need at the new stackMult to recover that cost. Use the Blender Planner: note unit before and after, then divide cost by the unit delta.

Stack choices

  • Sugar Totem: cheap starter stack.
  • Ice Totem: better default once mid-game cash is stable.
  • Festival Totem: best raw mult; buy when you will actively farm for a long session.
  • Dual Stack: use the planner's Dual option as an approximation when multiple buffs apply.

Do not buy a premium totem to "fix" a low Perfect rate. Fix timing first.
